One of the more popular email marketing tools, Mailchimp has come a long way since it launched as a robust, yet easy to use email marketing platform. Most of you probably know and use MailChimp for email distribution. Whether if you are on the free plan or one of the paid programs, I’ve found that a lot of people don’t know about the additional marketing tools available to you, so I want to share some of my favorites Mailchimp tips to make the most of your MailChimp subscription.
When you log into your MailChimp account, you’ll see you can create more than just email. You can create ads, landing pages, postcards and signup forms. Within the MailChimp platform you can create Facebook, Instagram and even Google Remarketing ads. Once you’ve connected your social profiles and selected your audience, either based on your existing audience or a custom audience, you can create content, get helpful tips, set your budget, and you’re good to go.
In a previous video, I talked about the importance of creating a lead page or landing page as soon as you’ve got your business started. MailChimp allows you to create landing pages directly from their interface using a variety of templates that are easy to customize. And best of all, they automatically connect to your MailChimp list so email marketing is simple. With Mailchimp, you can also create automatic campaigns so that new subscribers and put in an email sequence which can be customized in many ways to achieve maximum engagement and ROI.
Even though I usually advise against snail mail mailers, MailChimp even allows you to create and send physical postcards directly from their platform.
